Baptism

Buried with Him. Raised to life.

Baptism is the step of faith that goes public: the outward declaration of an inward change.

What It Means

One step. A whole story.

Baptism doesn’t save you. Jesus does. Baptism is how you tell the world. It pictures His death, burial, and resurrection, and your new life in Him.

At New Life, we practice believer’s baptism by immersion, a public declaration of faith in Jesus and new life in Him.

If you’ve trusted Christ, baptism is your next step. And if you’re still wrestling with questions, that’s a conversation we’d love to have.

I’m Ready to Talk
Common Questions

Before you ask

Do I need to be baptized to attend New Life?

Not at all. Baptism is a step for believers, never a requirement for belonging.

I was baptized as a baby. Does that count?

Great question, and a personal one. Let’s talk it through together, no pressure either way.

What do I wear? What do I bring?

We provide everything. Just bring a change of clothes and the people you love watching.

This Sunday

Baptism Sundays happen during the gathering.

The whole church family celebrates with you. Tell us you’re ready and we’ll set the date.
